Short answer: Yes, your pet can rap. Add a photo of each animal, or of your pet and you, pick a stage and type what the song is about. AI writes an English verse, makes the beat and lip-syncs your pets to it. The vocals are generated for the song; they are not your animals' real voices.
Pick your pet cast
The pet studio works like our people studio: two performers share the mic, and you decide who they are. These are the pairings that work best.
| Cast | Why it works | Topic to try |
|---|---|---|
| Dog and cat from the same home | Built-in rivalry, zero setup | “The dog ate my treats and blamed me” |
| Two dogs or two cats | Siblings, littermates or best friends | “We guard this window for a living” |
| Pet and owner | You get to play the straight man | “My cat reviews my cooking” |
| Your pet and a friend's pet | A playdate turned rap feature | “Dog park rivals finally collab” |
Have a photo where both animals are already together on the couch? Use one-photo mode instead of two uploads.
Stages work for pets too. The Orange Booth puts two animals under one hanging mic for the classic Hotel Lobby look, the House Party suits a dog's birthday, and the Marble Lobby turns a pair of cats into the owners of a luxury hotel, which is how they act anyway.
Photos that make pets look like rappers
- Face toward the camera, with eyes and mouth visible. A side profile gives the lip-sync less to work with.
- Good light and sharp focus. Pets move fast, so pick the one photo in the burst that isn't blurred.
- One animal per photo when you upload two.
- Flat faces work fine. Pugs and French bulldogs rap just as well as long-snouted dogs.
- Skip costumes that cover the mouth. Bandanas and collars are fine; masks and full hoods aren't.
- Rabbits, parrots and other pets can work too, as long as the face is clear.
Write the topic in your pet's voice
The funniest pet raps are written from the animal's point of view, about the things they clearly care about: food that arrives late, the vacuum, the vet, a sunbeam somebody else is lying in. A topic like “Mochi the cat explains why 5am is breakfast time” gives the verse a speaker, a grievance and a punchline in one line.
You have up to 200 characters and can type them in any language; the rap itself always comes out in English. Use your pets' real names, because hearing them rapped back is half the fun, and leave the topic empty if you just want a hype track about the toughest duo on the block.
What the voices sound like
The vocals are rap vocals generated for the song, so your dog will rap, not bark, and your cat will not sound like your cat. Lyrics, beat and lip movement are produced together by a Seedance video model with native audio, which is why the mouths move on the words instead of flapping over a stock track.
Expect a playful performance rather than a wildlife documentary: the charm is a pug delivering a confident verse with a completely straight face. A standard pet rap is 12 seconds, vertical and 720p, ready to download in HD without a watermark.
